It's highly unlikely that we all would have met were it not for our motorcycles and Match.com. The original members were Jack Horner, Don Filson, Bruce F. and Laura Reed. Jack and Don are old business buddies. Laura played viola at a wedding that Jack attended.
Laurie Andrews met Jack and Laura at a Harley Dinner ride one night. When Laurie told them she had a purple trike, they decided on the spot that she would be a good fit for the High Plains Drifters.
Kristi Seehafer was dragged in because she met a guy through Match.com who had dated Laura, and he made the introduction.
Then Laura met Stephen Ortiz through the same website. Kim works with Jack, and her BF Steve moved from Ohio to be with Kim. It was really crazy when we were all at a party at Kim's place, and Laura and Steve realized they had winked at each other on Match.com. That girl gets around...
Then, Laura moved to Phoenix, starting the Phoenix chapter, and broke up with Stephen. (Are following this?) Anyway, from time to time other people ride with us, like Lyn Bingham. Our most important auxiliary member is Judy Filson, who has joined us in the chase vehicle.
It always helps to write this stuff after having a margarita. AFTER riding, of course.
