Paris Landing, Veteran's Day 2007

This has to be one of our favorite rides.  We met up at Brewhouse West and rode west on 70 towards Dickson.  (Here is the full route.) From there we rode toward Erin.  The stretch from Erin to Tennessee Ridge, 49 to 147, is a collection of some of the best twisty and banked turns anywhere.  We all noticed the many skid marks left by speeding cars.  At McKinnon, we went north on 232, riding past Fat Daddy's (how sad!) until we merged with 79 towards Paris Landing State Resort Park.  The buffet lunch there is simply amazing!  As it turned out, we needed the extra calories to keep warm during the rain that afternoon.  It was supposed to be sunny and in the 60's with only a 30% chance of rain, but it was only in the 50's, and it was "30-percenting" us all afternoon!
